HDS Live question

I have 2 new HDS live 12's and am having a hard time getting them setup accurately. I want to be able to utilize them to the full potential. Any help would be greatly appreciated. One thing right off is the "trash" on the sonar screen. The first few feet are completely washed out and looks like a ton of debris all the time.

You need to turn your surface clarity on high which will clean up the top part of your sonar screen, try low or medium first and tune in from there.

I just upgraded the electronics on my boat 3 Carbons, AI 3 in 1 transducer and a ghost
I needed help setting it all up
I used a fellow name Chris Taylor of Big-Tay Fishing
He did a great job especially considering the day we chose it was pouring down rain
I am now seeing things I have never seen before.
He set me up some screens I really like as well as showing me some overlays that I had never used before
He also has been very accessible when I call and answered all of my questions
I consider the money well spent

He has a Facebook page and his contact info is there
