Good Morning all. Looking to make a trip up to Chick. I have never fished above Grasshopper area of lake and usually always put in at Wolftever. Looking to venture up to northern end of lake and looking for some public ramps that are open this time of year from Richland Creek area up. Thanks in advance.

Public boat ramps Richland Creek area and North

Above the Dayton/Richland Creek ramp is the Goodfield Public boat ramp on the opposite (Meigs co) side of the river. Some really good river fishing up that way....think spotted bass, smallmouth, crappie, white bass, and largemouth. It’s in a shallow bay so launching when water is way down is difficult or impossible depending on your boat.
