new G2's

Anyone out there running a new G2 Evinrude. How do you like it and have you had any issues with the motor so far. Trying to make up my mind on what to buy. Thanks for any feedback.

Johny Swallows put a brand new one on his bumble bee and loves it! Gets great gas mileage and has great power.

Bought a Ranger Rt198P over a year ago with the Etec G2 150 HO engine.

Love this engine, great torque, great fuel economy and just a dream engine.

I highly recommend it.

buy a mercury, save yourself some heartache, unless youre fishing the flw tour and have access to the service trailer and dont mind breaking down on the water. one of my best friends i have bought a boat with a G2 on it and it contributed to a really bad rookie year on the tour. it literally broke down at EVERY tournament.

he's running a mercury four stoke this year and LOVES it!

Love mine. I've got about 35 hours on mine now (30 of those hours are on the Chick....LOL). Zero issues and 10 year warranty.
