Search TWRA website for "Boating GIS" and it will show you all the launch points. Shelbyville and Milltown and Columbia all have low head dams that will require portage. It is almost entirely private land. Camping is available along the river at Henry Horton State Park. If Riverview Primitive camp is still open, they also have some camping on private land. River Rat's canoe might also have access to some private land to camp on. The best fishing is the sections away from the outfitters.
