You can do it. I use a fuel line with a bulb on it. Run the hose into the gas tank through the filler neck. Once it starts coming out, stick it in a gas can.

Put some in a glass jug, water will settle to bottom. This will verify contaminated fuel....then pour off gas & run in lawnmower...no use wasting fuel, boat waste's enough...jmo////

If you really like your lawn mower, don't do that. Air cooled motors run hot enuff already and with bad low octain fuel , it will run even hotter. It has a hotter faster flash point is why. If its small quantity's of fuel, the recycling centers will take it. If it's not too old, mix it 50/50 with fresh 93 and use it.

It's older than dirt and to much for a gas can to hold.

You can take the gas to the hazardous disposal drop off on Hawthorne off of Amnicola. They are now open six days a week instead of once a month.

Sounds like a good deal if I can get it out of the tank

I used some gas line and a squeeze bulb to manually pump out mine.
