Lake Cherokee??

Anyone have experience there? Was gonna take a trip up in a few weeks and was wondering what to expect as fair as general location of fish this time of year baits etc. I’ve never seen the lake other than on google earth so any info is greatly appreciated!!

It fishes better in cold water, lots of schools that just follow baitfish pods. Upstream is more shallow cover fishing, downlake is deeeeeep and clear .
