Trolling motor troubleshooting

I have an older Minn Kota Power Drive V2 that is having some issues.

The motor will run on the constant setting but not on the momentary setting.

Also, it will turn counter clockwise but not clockwise.

Any ideas on what would cause that? Foot pedal going bad?

I would like to fix it myself but if I can't is there someone around here that works on them?

I knew there was somebody that had been recommended here but I couldn't remember who it was.

Anybody have his contact information?

I found a couple numbers for him but one has been disconnected (423 479 7816) and the other (423 336 5438) the voice mail was full and I couldn't leave a message.

Never mind, he called me back.

go to each of the suggested shops, the condition of the shop reflects on the work done. ive been to both and i make the drive to Swafford in Lenoir City EVERYTIME!!!!!!!!!!

John swallows has always been very good to me. I've had him to do work on three motors in the past and never had a problem. Call Fish Tails in Cleveland and they can give you his number.
