Jack Plate maintenance

I have a TH Marine Pro Hi-Jacker HP on my boat. I believe it is a fixed unit (only trim). Can anyone share the required maintenance and how to perform? I'm sure the fluid or grease needs to be replaced. Thanks for any insight.

If you have a fixed jack plate it does not have any fluid or grease that will need to be replaced. You do need to check the bolts to ensure they are still tight and also the motor mounting bolts. It is suggested that you check all of the bolts used to attach the boat to the motor yearly.

If you are talking about the trim unit, it is separate and may need the hydraulic fluid checked.

Yes, the trim unit. I thought it was part of the jack plate. Thank you.
