Dale Hollow help

I’ve never been to Dale Hollow and was wondering if anyone has had any experience up there this time of year. Got some time to spend and was thinking of going up this week. I would appreciate any help.

Haven't fish there in the fall but topwater bite should be good right now. Shiners work well if the artificial bite is slow.

I haven't been there lately, but a friend of mine who is an excellent fisherman and knows it pretty well was there last week and fished from 3pm to midnight. He and his partner managed to put one short smallmouth in the boat. My advice, wait another week or two for that water temp to come down a little more.
