Hey guys , added couple more pics. to my album today, and wanted to tell you all about awesome catch this morning ! Was throwing super fluke over grass and all of a sudden a giant hawk or osprey flew down out of tree beside me and picked up fluke out of water still attached to braided line hook and all !! Had to fight her to keep my rod and reel , so we had a real tug of war going LOL !!!! She finally dropped bait and flew on to catch her breakfast somewhere else , but was a magnificent sight , and a beautiful bird !! This ever happen to anyone else ? I have also caught couple gulls throwing a jigging spoon fishing with my cousin, Gary Hutton .They were diving down just as I was casting and run through line and get tangled . That was a scary job of untangling with beaks and claws going in every direction . See you all out there, have a good one !!!

Caught a gull on Lake Erie. Hit my crankbait in the air and got tangled. While he was thrashing around the other gulls attacked him. I was able to pull him in and untangle him. Then the other gulls left him alone.

I had a fishing partner for a draw night tournament that caught a a big owl on a Jitterbug top water bait. He had been throwing that thing since dark. You get used to hearing it cast, with the water and whop all the way back to the boat. He made a cast and set the hook. It gets wild and he is yelling for the net. It comes around to the side of the boat and his line is going up not down into the water. That thing was about 40 feet off the water. One of the treble hooks was hooked in the owls claw. He reeled it in and I caught it in the dip net. We covered it up with a life jacket and took the hook out. Man that owl was pissed when I rolled off of it.

That thing dive bombed us about 5 times. I was covered up with a life jacket. He got under the console. I didn't want to leave the jitterbug in it talons because I thought it would get hung up in the
first tree it landed in. It was something I will never forget.

Got back seated again last Sat night. Four bites for four fish in four hours. Here is the 6lb'er Alicia caught around 10:00 pm. All fish were caught in Dallas Bay. Water temp was 91+.

Surprised a fish that big was so shallow.
