DUAL AXLE TRAILER LOAD

WHICH AXLE ON A DUAL AXLE TRAILER WILL CARRY THE MOST LOAD WITH ALL THE TIRES AT THE SAME PRESSURE ?

I would say it depends on the height and angle of the truck vs trailer. If trailer is perfectly level it should be even, but I would say back in most real life situations. I M O

if it has equalizers, they should be the same

Should be a balanced deal. 1 may carry a little more than the other. its like balancing a 2x4 on a pencil. Tongue weight plays a big part in the placement. 7-10 percent of the GVWR .

Some people get new trailers, work on their own or have dealerships work on them and tighten down the shackles and equalizer bar too much. hence not allowing it to rock and balance. We tighten them all the way down then remove the wrench and free spin them with an air gun.

BTW... Shane makes a good point. The best way to pull one is to get it as level as you can.
