Music while fishing

I bring a bluetooth speaker with me (no radio in the boat) and listen to music while I fish and was wondering who else listens to music while fishing?

I used to bring my iPod and put one head phone in my ear and then I started what you do Danny, but not very often. I have a Radio and speakers already installed but does not work, so I'm thinking about replacing it all. It's definitely nice to at least have the option especially when I'm just out there with family or friends.

Last time me and my buddy went he had loaded up his phone with music and we had tunes for a few hours, it was nice. Just placed it under the wind screen and it was load enough to hear.

When I fish alone I do.
Same here. I have a small square Omaker blue tooth speaker that works pretty good. Its supposed to be rugged and weather proof too. Some nights, when the bite is tougher it can be pretty boring by yourself.

I figured since I don't catch many fish I can at least provide a little entertainment, lol.

That applies to both of us

It started for me when i would spend 8-10 hours on a kayak by myself. I decided to take some headphones out with me. Then when i got the boat i stopped listening to music. Started listening to music again about 2-3 months ago and it makes those tough days more enjoyable. You may even see me dancing while getting skunked 3 hours into the trip. Haha. Im sure my taste in music is a little different from most on here. I was born in the late 80s and grew up during the 90s in Miami, so Rap/Hip Hop is the genre i mostly listen to. But when i get a partner on the boat i listen to something we both enjoy which is usually country or classic rock.

I listen to podcasts while I fish. I always wondered if I was scaring off the fish but when fishing by yourself it makes it more fun.

I listen to Pandora from my phone. But, I saw this blue tooth water proof speaker on display at Wal-Mart for $150 a while back. It was the BRAVEN BRV-PRO. I turned it on and it sounded great! It comes with mounting hardware and a bracket that, once installed, can be tilted in several different directions. It also has multiple accessories that can be purchased from Braven's website.. to name a few... small solar panel charger that mounts to the speaker case, an external battery pack, and swivel mount. The speaker's case has also been ruggedized specifically for outdoor use and has a waterproof rating of IPX7. On a full charger, the speaker is capable of 30hrs of playback and can also charge your phone if plugged into the speaker's USB port. I'm planning on getting one in the next few weeks. Below is a link to their website... their outdoor speakers range from $80 - $350. Go by Wal-Mart or Best Buy and give one a test run... you'll be impressed with the crisp range of sound, overall quality of construction, and solid materials used!

Sometimes, depends on fishing conditions. When it gets to be football season, there is nothing like listening to a game and throwing a frog.

Now if we can get everybody to play with their phone also the fishing spots won't be so crowded emoLaugh

No I don't I prefer the peace and quiet when I'm on the water
