Was going by Island Cove Marina on Hwy. 58 and out front there is a sign saying "Coming Soon, Triton Boats!". I was wondering if they would do something different to offset potential sales they may loose to Bass Pro. emoScratch We are sure picking up some boat dealers in our area. Good for us but seems like there is only so much business to go around. I guess if you are a Triton Boat owner or wish to look into having one you now have a local place here. emoThumbsup Jmax

Competition usually causes it to be better or those who don't will not make it. I still love my Ranger and Fish-n-Fun has taken care of me and then some. emoAngel But I will say those Tritons are nice boats too. emoThumbsup

If you need anything triton or ranger ,go to Bunch marine. You will never beat thier service and prices. Also bass pro will still showcase tracker/nitro,independents will still sale triton and rangers, triton r and d is still in Tennessee and will still be built in flippin, ark along with ranger, and stratos. The rumor of triton going to Missouri is also false.

FYI, I did and Bunch Marine was beat by Fish-n-Fun when I told them what I wanted and what I wanted on it. I checked all the dealers that carried Rangers when I got mine that were around here. Fish-n-Fun gave me the best price. Not knocking Bunch but they were higher, they were the next best price. I am sure they are great folks. I told them all the same thing. "Give me your best price, I am buying a Z119." May have got a family and friends discount. emoBigsmile Jmax

The other thing I will plug Fish-n-Fun for is Lee Haas did not want my old Ranger for a trade in. emoDoh I don't blame him, it had issues. However after he told me that I did not even make it back home before he called me and had it sold to a whole seller. I was so upset with that engine I had I was just wanting to unload it. I took it back to Lee and he took it off my hands, sold it to that whole seller and deducted the amount off my price on my new one. emoThumbsup Can't beat that! emoWorthy Jmax

I was in there Saturday. They had some books on triton and I ask. He said they will have some in around the middle of July. I love my little tracker but after fishing out of fiberglass boats I would really like one, But man are they expensive.

Nothing against Triton. Hundreds of people around here have them. Including two of my best friends and both of their boats impressed me. However; it would be hard to convince me to pay the difference when I can look at a Z20 Nitro with the same package right beside it for 10-15K cheaper.

I recently purchased a new Ranger myself. I went to Fish-N-Fun as well. My visit didn't last very long though. I'm not sure if the associate I encountered was already having a bad day; or if it was because, I didn't have on my good shirt. Y'all know the one I'm talking about... that one good shirt in everybody's closet that puts out the "I can afford it/Preapproved" vibe! Never judge a book by it's cover FnF, turns out Treasure Island is a pretty damn good read!

There were only two Rangers on the sales lot at that time, both of which were over 20 feet and loaded down to the max with all the bells and whistles. I could tell all the way from Hixson Pike that neither one of those boats were even close to being in my budget'so wheelhouse. I personally don't know any fisherman, in their mid-30's, that own a brand new $65k-$80k dollar top of the line tournament ready Ranger Boat.

From the moment I put my foot on the FnF lot, I had already been stereotyped, categorized, and placed in the "can't afford" pile. First words out of the salesman's mouth after hello wasn't, "how can I help you or is there something in particular you're looking for/interested in?" Nope, it was "sorry, we're fresh out of all our used inventory at the moment!" I never got the chance to say "I am buying, browsing, thinking about it, or not even in the market... just here killin' time," I simply said, "ok, thanks for your time." I'd never met or delt with this person until that very moment; and, he didn't know me from a hill of beans either. That was the first time I'd ever been to FnF. So, I got back in my truck and drove straight to the next Ranger Dealership which was a good drive down the road. I walked in the showroom, sized up the inventory, 3 new Rangers that were in my budget's wheelhouse. I waliked around the showroom gawking at all the Ranger.Boat porn for about 5 minutes before being approached by the salesman. Before they even had an opportunity to say a word, I pointed to the one that had my name on it (that only I could see) and said, "I'll take this one!" Yes FnF salesman, I could afford... and yes FnF... I drove straight from your lot to your competitor's and bought a NEW 2016 Ranger that very same afternoon! FnFz yor website had several pictures of both an 18 and 19 that were for sale in your current inventory section. The pictures of both models were taken from inside your "showroom" but me and my..... already been preapproved for the loan by the bank... blank check in hand... never made it that far!

I'm positive the experience I had FnF isn't a common occurance. Obviously, they wouldn't still be in business if it were.

Sorry about your experience dude. I had the same experience at Nichols marine. What they didnt know is that I was already approved through Tracker marine. Turns out with a credit score of 740 you can get one whatever they have to do. The sales dept. at Island Cove Outdoors bent over backwards to get me to buy and take a boat that day.

Here is something new from the FLW tourney in Plattsburgh, Ranger will no longer have exclusive dealers zones, so any dealer that would like to carry Ranger will be able as long as they meet Rangers dealers requirements. The Bunch, FnF exclusive areas can now have other Ranger dealers, more competition. The regional Ranger rep did not know in Johnny Morris made the same change for Triton and Stratos.

Jmax - 7/21/2016 3:02 PMThey got a couple Tritons in today. Got to admit they are pretty but pricey. emoAngel
Pricey?? Compared to a Ranger they are a good deal. :)

Actually anymore they are about the same. I paid in the upper 40s for my Ranger. The one sitting in their showroom today was in the upper 60s for the Triton. Jmax
