I have a 788 on the bow that had an internal GPS receiver. Problem is sometimes the GPS doesn't come up and it's getting annoying. It only works when it feels like it lol. Question is; can I get an external GPS puck and hard wire to the unit? Seems to me that this would fix the issue but not sure. If it'll work I'm in the market for a Humminbird puck if anyone has one handy.
