Transducer mounting

I just noticed the new forum for Kayak fishing... Thought I would try the question out.

Anyone mounted a HDSI transducer to their kayak? I have an extra transducer and I have the gel batteries to run my 898 on the Kayak.... just need some ideas on how to mount the transducer.

I think it would be very cool to have SI on a yak...

I've been toying with using a magnet inside the hull and either another magnet or steel mounted on the transducer mount. It works great so far.
