Just wondering what yall are casting when fishing in a lake (example: Chickamauga) when it's overcast and rainy and pop rs aren't working in the morning I usually rely on spinner baits but last time I didn't have any luck with em so any suggestions for morning and afternoon

Hopefully whatever the fish are biting! emoPoke emoBigsmile
It really depends on the time of year, water clarity and how much current is being pulled.
Sometimes they don't want fast moving baits, such as a Spinnerbait. That's when it's time to soak a big worm or jig.

Try a white spook. That's the first thing I throw when it's overcast and the top water bite is on.
