Gina's first gobbler 3/24/15

Went to chattooga county this morning and got set up on a tom but the hens had us cut off. So a little later we located another gobbler that was a litte more willing, my wife Gina made a good shot at 35 yards for her first tom.

First bird will always be the best and most exciting hunt. The older I get, the less excited I get about hunting opening day for anything. But there is something about hearing an ole boss rattle off at daylight that keeps me itching for opening day gobblers.

Unless I'm missing something, I thought spring Turkey didn't open until April 4th. Aside from that, nice bird.
