It has been a great winter for me on the bigger brown trout on the Toccoa River tailwater and it's tributaries.
I managed several very nice browns from the river and a couple more from lower fightingtown creek that I suspect were river fish in the creek which were headed back tp the river post - spawn. All but one of these fish was fooled with a large stonefly pattern I came up with tha uses livelylegz and brown alpaca fur dubbing.
This fish was the first big brown of the season to come to the boat... on high water
