A winter of nice browns on the Toccoa... `

It has been a great winter for me on the bigger brown trout on the Toccoa River tailwater and it's tributaries.
I managed several very nice browns from the river and a couple more from lower fightingtown creek that I suspect were river fish in the creek which were headed back tp the river post - spawn. All but one of these fish was fooled with a large stonefly pattern I came up with tha uses livelylegz and brown alpaca fur dubbing.
This fish was the first big brown of the season to come to the boat... on high water

Nice pics. What was the length on that monster 24"? fat as crap looked like it swallowed a nerf football
