Gift cards and price matching

Probably the wrong forum for this question. Not sure where it fits.

I noticed tackle warehouse has gift cards 10% off. I thought about buying a $600.00 card which would only cost $540.

I also noticed they say they price match I found a HB 859HD DI at Hodges Marine for $610. It is $699 at Tackle warehouse.

So... If they price match at TW I would be able to buy the 859 and only have about $550 invested.

Sounds like a lot of trouble to save $50 bucks though.

Think that would even work? Anyone had TW price match before?

Man I sound like a tight wad... Guilty

It's Ok to be a tightwad. I worked for a guy who told me if you manage your pennies, your dollars will take care of themselves.
