I've seen more than one boat dealers do this. I reckon they do it while setting boats up and test runs ect.

Wonder what would happen if the brake was released and it was in neutral? emoGeezer

Probably did think they had it to themselves. I see them and the Hydrasport folks up there quite a bit running boats. Most are pretty nice folks and pull out and park - as they should. Plenty of parking space, not a lot at the ramp/dock.

I'd take the 3 minutes to pull my truck up 20ft instead of making my company look bad. That ramp looks like it only holds one trailer.

dragmerc - 12/21/2014 8:13 AM you guys need to work in the boat repair business a little while. most times, mechanics have to go to lake alone to try and keep your boats running. if there was only 1 ramp, this would be in-excusable, otherwise during the winter season, i don't see a problem. put yourself in the other guy's place once in a while.

From what I see, there is only one ramp in the picture. If I had took the time to load my boat and drive there to fish and couldn't launch, I'd be PO'd for sure. It's a negative reflection of character to me. It would influence my decision to give that place my business.

I have my own personal ramp and I still want leave my trailer in the water due to so much grit in the water and will ruin bearings quick

Think we can all agree it's done for one reason--convenience. Maybe the driver is alone, maybe not. There is a dock that you can tie the boat to. Another thing we probably can all agree on is--leaving your trailer sitting in the water is not good for the hubs, etc. Sure would not want a repair shop to back my trailer in and leave it soaking! Not knowing the facts, maybe it's the manufactures truck, trailer and boat. Sure looks like a one lane ramp though.

If it is Clear Creek, which it looks like, then it is a double lane ramp. One on each side of the dock. Either way unless there was some sort of emergency it should have been pulled up and parked in the parking area.
