Snake bit buddy: literally

Just a reminder to bow hunters that the creepy crawlies are still active this time of the season.
My buddy took his tow teenage sons to bow hunt on our property in Franklin County.
He was leading one son to his stand in the dark and got popped by a copperhead. He said it was as big as his arm and about 2.5 ft long. It barely nicked him, luckily, and he didn't even let on to his son cause he didn't want him to get freaked out.
He said the fangs stuck in his pant's leg and he jerked back and it took off.

He did get nauseous that night and his leg tingled like it was "asleep" for two days.

Make some noise and stomp your feet cause they're hard little things to see in the dark.
