I am a high school fisherman coming down to fish a tournament Oct. 4th out of Shellmound. Can somebody give me any pointers on what I can catch some fish on and how I can catch them? It will be greatly appreciated!

Frog bite should be picking down there. Swim jigs along grass edges. Spooks early or if it's cloudy.

Punch grass lines and frogging will be major players.

Green pumpkin, watermelon, or watermelon/red Senko rigged weightless along grass lines.

Tough bite right now. Pull off the grass and use a senko with a little or no weight.
