Me and a friend decided to start making some jigs recently. So we started melting and pouring after work today. It was pretty interesting for some first timers. I think we did pretty good though. I just wanted to share some pics with yall to get some opinions or suggestions maybe. We are gonna do away with the bands though and start tying from now on. Thanks guys and good luck to all this year.

Looks good for the first time doing it those bands can be a lot of trouble trying to get the skirts even tying make things look better and last longer you dont have to worry about the skirt coming off when you set the hook.

Good job. emoThumbsup The reward of catching some bass on something homemade will be sweet.

Thanks for the comments guys. Yes Muskrat I think it would be a good feeling to catch a bass on a lure you made I hope that time comes soon. They are for our use and we will be selling also. Looking into getting some more molds. We only have the weedless sparky jig and tube jigs right now

Looks really good. I don't pour my own but usually tie some from time to time and catching fish on something you've made Is an awesome feeling

I started making my own jigs and trailers a couple weeks ago. Have caught a few fish off of them. Here's a few pics of mine.

I've been making my own for several years now and agree that the bands are a pain. I use a length of braid and tie all my skirts now. The easiest way is to tie them before installing the weed guard. Works great especially for arkie flipping/skipping jigs.
