well not 360° but 360' of coverage to each side.

I was playing with my new boat and just got the transom SI installed and wanted to see what kind of range the old Humminbird could do. Humminbird published spec for HDSi Transducer Range is 240'...well beat that! 360' to each side and still got data! 360' to each side is a Football Field with Both EndZones of Coverage to the Right and Left! This is even with some blockage on the left side...going to have to add the spacer to get my transducer down a little lower to get under the Skeeter Sponson...but still pretty neat that it surpassed published specs.

You can see the blockage on the left side in these images but it's still covering pretty dang good!

X Marks the Spot....The Humminbird Found the Spot!

And for you Lake of the Ozarks Guys...Yes Lake of the Ozarks has standing Timber!

That is just awesome!! Looks like Humminbird's product is better than even they think it is.

Actually Humminbird is conservation on advetising specs. Owners are alot happier when they out perform - then under perform.

How about 150' Max Depth Specs for Side Imaging and Down Imaging....That can out perform here too.

Doug, can you tell me what would be a reasonable fee for an HB rep to go out in the boat with me to show me how to operate/set up my unit-998Csi ?

I know several guides that are offering Training Packages. I think Louie Battenfield here does that??? I know several around here that do trip. I use to do it for $75.00 Hour before I got shut down by the coast guard. In the process of getting my captains license to be able to start training again. This fee included special insurance endorsements basically a guide policy since I was performing services on the water which cost more than normal boat insurance. So added costs to perform these besides giving up normal free time.

Thanks-didn't think about all those other fees. So, the guy I talked with at the Knoxville boat show was very reasonable. By the way, not naming names, but he thinks very highly of you
