Location: Soddy Daisy (69.246.157.25) | It is not legal for someone under 21 to own a handgun. So it would definately come back to haunt you. ----- When your hands smell like fish its been a good day! |

No.
Incorrect. An FFL dealer cannot sell to anyone under 21, an individual can sell to another individual as long as they are not under 18 and can legally own a gun, and they are in the same state. I'd still do so with caution, 18 yr olds can do stupid stuff sometimes, to young to own a hand gun in my opinion. |

Location: Hixson (66.18.33.50) | Oops, read it as under 18 for some reason.
The law only states they can't be a minor to poses a handgun. I personally would not even consider selling a pistol to someone under age 21. In fact I prefer not to sell a handgun to anyone who doesn't have a carry permit. I would sell it to his parent though..... I doubt its worth the trouble or liability on your part to sell it directly to him.
I owned handguns @ 18 but they were given to me by family.

Location: Trenton, GA (98.81.167.41) | I am under 18. And really it just depends on the person. I was raised around guns and i know the dangers of them. I have handguns. I shoot guns. But some people are not responsible to own a gun. Some people dont know the risk of them. But really i dont know if i would sale a hand gun to someone 18 if i was you. ----- "I like the dumb ones, and I kinda like the easy ones too" -Gerald 'G-Man' Swindle |
