Location: Chattanooga,TN (68.169.180.15) | First off, my dream is to be debt free and without that, this dream cannot happen, but when I day dream this is it.
I want to go off the grid, no phone and no internet, just me and my gear. I would love to travel to all the great fisheries around the United States and fish and camp. No worries no problems. I don't eat fish but something about this dream would make me change that. I just want to travel and live off the land and fish EVERYWHERE. No bills, no interuptions, just the money required for gas and necessities. A traveling fishing hobo. It would suck to leave my friends and family for a period of time, but it would be like a spiritual journey, just me and the great outdoors and nothing else. I can only imagine the stories and the great fun this would be, am I the only one that thinks of something like this? I just want to drive to random places and put my boat in and enjoy life, fishing to me is my prescription for stress and hard times. Nothing clears my mind like fishing. I know im not the only one that thinks like this, but this is my dream...a fishing hobo!!!! ----- Roboworm Master

But yeah, it would be nice to do that for a few years. |

Not sure about the hobo part, but would definitely love to travel and fish different parts of the US. The first on my bucket list would have to be Alaska. ----- One of the deep secrets of life is that all that is really worth the doing is what we do for others.~Lewis Carol |

Location: Wildwood,Ga (166.248.131.1) | You know-after thinking about this post it's a lot like what I did in the earlier part of my life.
I got deeply into hang gliding in 1975, it was all I wanted to do! I've lived in California, Mich., Ohio,Penn., and here and travelled all over the country for 17 years-just pursueing flying!
It was great!!
Of course, had I put that effort into an education or even Pro fishing-maybe I wouldn't be a hobo now! |

I'm supposed to have my nose in the books right now but can't seem to stay off the Forum, Bassmaster.com, and when I need a smoke break, I go outside and practice casting. My wife's gonna kill me if she finds out! lol. ----- One of the deep secrets of life is that all that is really worth the doing is what we do for others.~Lewis Carol |

And now you are a transplanted, now rooted, damn Yankee of some sort that was higher than a kite before you landed here and graced us all with your awesome presence. Is that about right? Is that what your trying to say? Benchgrinder may I ask, is there such a thing as a damn German Yankee? Or Have I coined a new cliche? Just asking! My gosh Roy, you've been around you 'ol fart!

(67.167.166.69) | This is the story of Howard Sprague on the Andy Griffith show. Howard retired to an island with few people around. It was great for a short while. Breathing all that fresh air and just hanging around that one bar. Pretty soon, he was just like a shell shocked, unshaven zombie. Most people in today's world would be just like that in about 6 weeks.
