(68.169.157.169) | I observed several boats this week practicing for the CBA and when I got close, some guys, who I know were throwing TN rigs, held their rod down so I couldn't see what they were throwing (I did not fish the CBA). I mean, you can see that thing getting slung from a ways back, plus you know the majority of the competitors are going to be using it, so why act like it's a big secret? I can see if you are throwing a crankbait, jig, spinnerbait, etc. in a unique color and killing them, but a TN rig? People have been throwing that thing like mad for the past few months, it's not a secret.

Location: Dunlap Tn (75.200.46.240) | for sure the a rig catches more fish than the tn rig with out a doubt.for me its just like fishing a spinner bait.some days slow rolling, draging it on the bottom, jerk & pause, deep, shallow, its not the same every day.not everyone is having good luck with it either.soon it will be fish up shallow in the wood, docks and brush ,weeds and stuff and the a rig will go back in the tackle box.till summer then, dd22s, spoons, dropshot, jigs, worms.thats what i think and I do hope the a rig becomes legal in tn. |

(67.167.171.245) | Pointer 78 - 2/25/2012 8:34 PM Like any other overused lure, the fish very well become wary of it. So your saying fish will be conditioned to a school of bait? God knows they have been chasing that since the beginning of time. -----

(69.131.233.6) | Personally I like using the rig, I feel it does catch more fish and fish that would not usually bite. I think that when the water temps warm up we all need to take a extra step in preparation with our live wells to make sure our fish get back in the water safely |
