| I have been struggling to figure out what rod to use for crank baits. I have been told to get a fiberglass rod, so any suggestions as too what rods would be great for cranking. I am currently using a 7'3" Veritas MED/HEAVY. But i am aware that they are graphite rods, just any suggestions will be appreciated. | |

| Well thanks for the help guys, i actually remembered i had an academy gift card so i went by and picked up a Skeet Reese Cranking Rod. My buddy suggested it and said it was the only skeet reese he uses over his G'Loomis or custom rods. I used it on some jerk baits today and love it so far! Next is finding a flipping rod, i will have to give that guy a call! | |
