(75.136.37.247) | When you sign up for a tournament dont you just have to go to the box on the left hand side of the forum where it says sign up and click it then your signed up with everone else?I done that a couple days before the guntersville tournament like i always do but this time someone posted then erased that i did not follow the rules of signing up thats why i didnt get points or anything last sat in guntersville.

I'm in no position to say anything official but it looks like you got 75 points and a very nice five and a half pounder, too bad you couldn't bag some of his cousins |

Actually, the CFF Tournament Rules are straightforward in specifying where you sign up. Signing up is also stressed in the sign-up thread. This has been repeated numerous times, but SIGNING UP ON THE CALENDAR IS NOT A SUBSTITUTE FOR SIGNING UP ON THE THREAD. To my knowledge, signing up on the calendar has never been a subsitute for signing up in the tournament thread. In the future, anyone who does not sign up on the thread will not be allowed to fish as is consistent with the rules. When you sign the waiver form it specifically states and you are attesting that: "1. I have read and understand the description and rules of the CFF Tournament Trail. I will obey all rules and understand that any violation may result in immediate disqualification without refund of entry and/or administrative fees. I also understand that tournament officials may reject my application for entry for any reason and in that event will refund my entry/administrative fees..."
