Subject: First duck mount

Just started duck huntin last year. Did ok for my first year mostly woodies and mallards. I saved a few to mount myself. I mounted one of the mallard hens las met sunday. It turned out ok. Its still a little wet in the pic. Gonna try the male this weekend. Let me know what yall think.

Looks great to me. I been wantin to go duck huntin again. Only been 1 time and didnt do so good. Would like to shoot me one and get it mounted to go on my wall. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks guys. I'm just learning bird taxidermy so please post all opinions good or bad. So if you see something I should have done differently let me know. Gonna take the cards off today and finish her and do the male tomorrow. Will post pics of the pair together later on. Thx again

Hell yeah! Never would have thought there would have been enough valuable information on youtube on mounting birds. Thats pretty impressive.

Looks great. That is awesome that you have taught yourself and I agree with the above comment. Haven't really messed around with youtube but I wouldn't have thought I could teach myself some taxidermy skills from it haha
