Location: Huntsville, AL (199.209.144.202) | I plan on trying/buying it after the first of the year. Please leave a little feedback in the next 2 weeks on it if you don't mind. So far you are the only person I know that already has it.
I have been through 4 rounds of P90X(1) so far, and still don't look like Davo's brother . The last round and a half I started mixing in free weights on leg and chest days, I think it really helped me gain some strength back.
Are the P90X2 workouts still 60min? |

He was a freaking machine when he was trying to get really ripped, never...and I mean never cheated; not one piece of candy or anything. He said the only time he ate anything bad was when he had a spoon of Peter Pan peanut butter. |

Location: Ooltewah (98.249.86.46) | Started yesterday with Core X. Very good workout and a couple of the moves I really struggled with. The workouts are still around a hour long. Doing Plyocide tonight. Already watched it and it does not look too bad.
One thing I can say is the moves are completely different than P90X so dont expect to just roll into this thing and kick ass on day one. Also, P90X2 is only 5 days per week which is good.
Also, all I can say is the stability ball sucks. |

Location: Ooltewah (98.249.86.46) | Did Plyocide last night. Shorter that P90X Plyo but harder. I liked it better. Still a 55 minute workout but there is 12 minutes of stretching at the end that is pretty good.

Good: Yoga is only 66 minutes. Whooo hoooo!!!.
Bad: Core, core, core. I hate the stabilty ball.
The first phase is called Foundation and is core city. Every move you do you have to use your core to stabilize your body while you do curls, push ups, etc. I never sweated on P90 like I have been on X2. Some of the moves are crazy hard and to be honest if you are not in shape I would not recommed X2 at all. Where in P90 you could modify or do lighter weights, you have no option but to do the moves in X2.
Ab Ripper X2 is actaully easier for me than P90. I like it a lot more.
Botton line, X2 is a lot funner than P90 but it is a lot harder. I will update everyone again when I start Phase II in a few weeks. |

(184.174.148.95) | I tried P90X once when I was training for Ironman. I am one of those types that if I can't do it all the first time, I get discouraged easily. It is truly difficult. I think the major goal for the whole program is to make a lifestyle change. Recently, my wife and I became vegetarians, and that has helped me lose weight and control my bio functions so much better than any exercise regimen I ever used. It is about time to start back on a training regimen though, so maybe, I will give it another shot now that I am older and a little less worried about getting it right the first time. Good luck with it!!!

Location: Ooltewah (98.249.86.46) | I finished my 3 weeks of Phase I last weekend (then spent the week stuck in a conference this past week). Very good workout, centered around core, core, core. This weekend I will start Phase II. Should be fun. The workouts make your work your entire body for each move, so you burn more and work more in a shorter period. I will let you know how Phase II goes. |

Location: Chattanooga (68.169.185.105) | Have heard the same from another who started it in December, much harder than X but funner because of the additional "props". I'm sticking to the gym for now, the scenery and talent is much better there (-: I plan on hitting X2 sometime in the future though so keep the updates coming! ----- '98 Fisher Blue/Gunmetal, 200 Merc EFI |

Location: Ooltewah (98.249.86.46) | Finished the 2nd phase last week. Liked the first phase better, the core work was better. Phase II was sort of like P90. Starting phase 3 Monday. Will keep you posted. |
