(173.247.21.198) | I'm still using Seaguar Inviz-X and red label and it seems to work pretty well. I've got some Stren Fluorocast on the way I am going to try out so I will let you all know how I like it. Another line I have been using that I really like is the Berkley Trans-Optic, it seems to have the best quality's of the mono and fluorocarbon lines with excellent knot strength, low memory, and it works well on spinning reels. |

Thanks for the heads up on the video!!! I guess I won't even bother putting it on. I'll send it back and buy more Inviz-X. |

I've read mixed reviews on 100% flourocarbon so I've been using P-Line Flouroclear which has worked VERY well.

Location: Chattanooga (76.127.31.7) | Put some brand new Pline on a reel and it cut itself on about the third cast and separated - I did get my lure back. Don't know if line was knicked. Seems like sometimes the flour separates and sometimes it lasts a while. Anyone else had that experience. Trilene brand rarely does that to me btw. -----

If you are a "line watcher" you will love the Trans-Optic. It turns orangish-yellow when the sun hits it and is supposed to be clear under the water. I have no clue if it actually does that or not but I can't tell a difference as far as catching fewer fish using it vs using Fluorocarbon. I have been really surprised at how tough the line is, when I saw it and read about what it was supposed to do I kind of laughed and said yeah right but it has made a believer out of me. |

Location: Hooterville or Ooltewah (98.249.113.120) | PBS has it as about $40 / $45 per 600 yd spool. Invisx is $85 / $95 per 1,000 yd spool. Red Label was listed in bulk, but now it's not. I saw where Trilene 100% has a 2,000 yd. spool for $159.00, all depending upon the line size. Oil prices have gone up since last year! beetlespin put me on Delo's Tackle and we were ordering 1,000 spools of InvisX or AbrasX for about $50 / $60! Red Label even was cheaper! ----- ...what would you do if you met God today? "Probably take him fishing!" Denny Crane |

Location: old fort,tn (68.59.249.35) | the only issue with p-line was we were re-spooling some of our reels for a tx the next day, bought 4-5 refill spools from gander moutain in wisconsin, and a couple of them in no way had 250 yards on them,,didn't even fill up 1 reel, the boxes appeared to be un opened,a couple days later,we contacted j.pucci from pline, scanned the receipt and lot numbers from boxes, and they took care of it..... |
