I'm not a hunter but my gut says no, I would say they're not real keen on having people with guns near their power plants. They may manage some hunts on their property, but I would think with all of the TVA land around here we would hear something about it.

You can hunt most all TVA land and no permit is required. A lot of it is land locked by private property so a boat my be needed.

The above is true. A map is available for 5 bucks.

You can hunt legally on much of the land. No permit required. There are portions of TVA land you can not hunt. The majority of the land you can hunt starts above CFP and HBSP up river. I have the TVA map that shows all areas. They are marked for you to see where you can hunt. The map also shows where it isaccessibleby land/road front. You will most likely NOT see TVA signs where you can access the land from the roads due to locals removing them. I know many spots and there are many good deer on that river land. As mentioned, it is much better to access the land by boat. That way parking is mucheasierand you can access all the land with residents along the roads seeing you. You may besurprisedjust where you can legally hunt.

This has been a few years back but I just stopped in a TVA office and asked about hunting on TVA lands.
They were real nice and gave me a map which showed the areas where hunting was allowed at no charge.

I got mine at the TVA office on the west end of the Dam. It was a while back. You may have to get one from the TVA Map Store on Hickory valley Rd.
